Our Approach

A Madeleine is a short metaphor enabling a better memorisation of good practices. It appeals to emotions while also seeking rational understanding. A Madeleine creates an automatism between a concept, an image, a title and a story linked to an emotion. By remembering the Madeleines, users acquire counter-intuitive reflexes they can access even during stressful situations.

The name Madeleine is a reference to French author Marcel Proust and his famous Madeleine story, in which he describes his own experience with sensory memory.

A Madeleines training will enable your team to better decode and model tense situations. It will enable you to distance yourself, anticipate and acquire reflexes that will restore trust and dialogue.

“The Madeleines have proven very useful to memorise and understand key behaviours in our team and with our clients.

A very fun way to learn and improve, and an experience that heightened our sense of team and collaboration”

— Emily Bohill, managing partner at Bohill Partners
